Dark Spot Correcting Glow Serum
The serum’s main ingredient is Niacinamide, which helps in correcting dark spots and improves uneven skin tone. It also contains plant-derived Squalane which helps the skin retain the moisture. On top of Niacinamide (5%), there are 6 base ingredients are squalene, sea buckthorn, allantoin, papaya, rice bran, and calendula. All of these ingredients brought together will give your skin a boost of brightness while nourishing and soothing it.
I use the Dark Spot Correcting Serum as part of my daily skincare routines, just before the last step (SPF in the morning and night cream at night). After cleaning, tonic and applying my usual serum, I pump a small amount onto my hand and then apply to my face and neck.
The package of the serum is a tube with a tiny pump. I love this type of packaging because I find it easily to dispense the product than traditional tubes. One downside is the fact that it’s not very stable standing, so I gave up and I keep it on my shelf horizontally. The consistency of the serum is light-weight, and it is super quickly absorbed into the skin. The smell is so subtle, you might not even feel if all the time – and when you do, it’s a fresh scent, similar to the other products from AXIS-Y range.
This type of serum helps with hyper pigmentation and uneven skin texture due to UV exposure and other environmental aggressors. If you live in busy urban areas and/or you’re not applying your SPF daily, your skin may suffer.
