Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream Review

Summer is here, with its heat, sun and heavy air. On top of that, let us add pollution and stress, and you have the perfect combination for irritate skin. I have been having irritated cheeks in the past months, not necessarily from the weather. And I think I might have found the solution!

Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream

I have tried Klairs products before and I was thrilled to give the calming cream a try. I have been using the midnight cream for more than a month now, a few days per week, as the last step of my night skincare routine.

What I mostly love about the Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream is not only its amazing and unique colour, but also how lightweight it is. As soon as you scoop it with the provided tiny spatula, I apply it on my cheeks and gently massage it into the skin.

If you are wondering about the blue colour, that happens because the cream is formulated with Guaiazulene, a plant-based component from Chamomile oil. This key ingredient’s properties are calming and soothing irritated skin. The Midnight Blue Calming Cream should not be used as a moisturizer alone; but rather on top of your regular moisturizer, as the last step of your skincare routine. Apply it when you feel the need for some extra soothing.

If you would like to increase the calming effects, you can use the sheet mask from the same family. I would use one every other day for extra hydration and calm my irritated cheeks.

klairs midnight blue calming sheet masks_1I am so far loving the Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream. As I already mentioned, I apply it every other day as part of my night skincare routine. And every morning after, my cheeks are looking less red, less irritate and more smooth!
