I’d like to start off this post by clarifying that I myself am not going back to school. But as summer is fading away, and the pumpkin spice lattes are coming back, I myself am feeling in a back to school vibe. It’s the time of the year when parents are heading out for some good old back to school shopping for the school year. But in this post I won’t be talking about school supplies or stationery, but I rather share with you cute outfit inspiration with a back to school vibes. For me, when I am talking about back to school outfits I am talking about feminine dresses, cute collars and pinafores. Back to School with a Classic Pinafore
Pinafores are classic school girl outfits. When I was little, I would to wear them with cute shirts underneath. And I did the same for this adorable apron classic pinafore in pink! Instead of a plain white shirt, I went for a bolder one combination – flounce asymmetric striped shirt. This outfit is rather versatile and can be worn with both high heels and sneakers, all depending on your mood and style! That is one major thing I love now about pinafores. They are flexible and you can wear them all year round. I like to wear with with anything from t-shirts,and shirts to cosy jumpers and knitted sweaters!
Back to School with a Collar Check Dress
Another back to school details are collars – be it collared shirts, dresses or detachable collars. It was love at first sight with this dress. And I was even more in love with is once I tried it on. It’s extremely comfortable, stretchy and – wait for it – it has pockets! This collar check dress is so chic that I was completely blown away by the fact that it has pockets. It caters to busy women who don’t take any non-sense and are fed up of the lack of pockets when it comes to women’s clothing.
