Outfit: Tennis-Inspired Dress

tennis dress h&m

Last Saturday, we went to a wedding in Belgium for and I knew I needed a new dress; also, it was a perfect occasion for me to snap some outfit pictures (sorry not sorry ). As I don’t live close to too many shops and I had limited time (and too lazy on weekends anyway), I dug through H&M for a nice summer dress, not too formal, but not too casual, and rather versatile. As you know, I like to have a look at the kids section. Because of my height, there are many cute things that fit me (and I’m not even the biggest size) and are also cheaper than the ‘grown-up’ section. As I said, I was first looking for a lightweight summer dress, keeping also in mind the shoes and bags I already have. I was so close to getting one of those dresses that is longer in the back than in the front (actually was waiting in line to pay at the cashier), when I noticed a girl looking at dresses in the women’s section and was looking at m future dress. It really was like love at first sight and I just went, took the last piece on my size and tried it on. Needless to say, I took it and for sure I will wear it many many times (am I the only one that thinks of the cost-per-wear to see if something is worth it?).

Decided to pair the dress with pointy shiny black heels (also had similar flats so I can change and not die), and my red bag for a pop of colour. Oh and guess what – the dress even has pockets (discovered that way later during the party)!
