Beautiful Viennese building

At the and of last month, I spent a few days in Vienna. I have already been there several times, seen the majors museums, castles & churches. So this time, it was more about relaxation and enjoying some quality time.

Some shopping on Mariahilferstrasse, walking a LOT (as always when I travel), drinking a lot of Starbucks and eating a lot of goodies. By the way of goodies, you must try the aida café, where you can drink Wiener Melange and eat some Sachertorte (yum!). They also have delicious fruit cakes and beautiful praline boxes.

I am glad I got to see Vienna in winter, as the ice rink a the city hall was still functioning. Didn’t take any touristy photos, just some of this ice rink, which looked like a maze, and with all the lights and the music, it was just magical.

And as I can’t resist museums, I had to visit the Pop Art exhibition at the mumok. It is really a great exhibition, and if you are a pop art lover, it’s worth visiting. It’s still open until September 2015.
